What is The Apartment Store doing to mitigate the spread of Coronavirus?

The Apartment Store and its parent company Keystone Real Estate Group, LP are committed to the health and well-being of our team members, resident guests, and guests. We are adhering to all CDC and PA Department of Health guidelines and continue to implement additional measures to protect everyone. Our efforts include but are not limited to the list below. Please help us in our efforts to stop the spread of Coronavirus.
  • We continue to follow all CDC and Department of Health guidelines.
  • We require all team members, maintenance technicians, guests, and third-party contractors wear masks while in the leasing offices, common areas, and entering apartments for inspection and/ or service.
  • We strongly encouraging the use of online services whenever possible to reduce in-person contact. Please refer to the Move-In FAQ page for more information on accessing and utilizing your Resident Portal to place maintenance requests, make payments, etc.
  • If you cannot pay your rent through your Resident Portal, please help limit in-person contact by dropping your payment in the drop box located outside the leasing office.
  • Please follow all directional signage placed on stairwells, entrances, exits, elevators, floors, etc. to promote social distancing.
  • We are staggering our move-in process and providing additional check-in locations to limit the number of guests gathering at one time.
  • Nearly all important move-in information will be conducted online. PLEASE CONTINUE TO MONITOR YOUR EMAIL FOR CRUCIAL MOVE-IN INFORMATION.
  • Please note that the number of people permitted in the leasing office at one time will be limited. Kindly defer to the guidance of our team members.
  • Hand sanitizer stations are available in common areas, offices, and community recreation spaces.
  • We have contracted professional cleaners to clean and sanitize public spaces on a regular basis. In between professional cleanings, all team members are working together to continuously wipe down high touch areas.
  • For those still looking to lease an apartment, we offer full-service virtual leasing, from touring to signing.

If all of my classes are online, am I still allowed to move into my apartment?

Yes. We are aware of Penn State‚Äôs strategies for return to campus with options for online instruction. The Apartment Store is a private entity, managing the interests of our resident guests and property owners as best we can in these unprecedented times. We value the safety and well-being of our community and are working diligently with the State College Borough, Penn State University, and other local landlords to provide processes and services to our guests while adhering to all CDC and PA Department of Health guidelines. In addition to the well-being of our community, we also value the investment our guests are making in their education and strive to support their success and want them to have the full college experience. To that point, we remind you that our resident guests will have access to their apartments for the entirety of the lease term, which will provide a place where students can focus on their studies without the distractions and of home. In addition, we provide high-speed Wifi at our properties to support any necessary online learning.
